I get up after going to bed at 2 am. I finally get a handle on how to format a book and publish it on Kindle. Before getting out of book I am inspired to use story telling as a vehicle to introduce and educate people about Bitcoin.
I download and install Photoshop and design a cover.
I write the first page of the story.
“No fucking way” my mind screamed when I saw the poster.
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name“ popped in next.
“Where did you get this?” I ask Jessie.
“At the stadium. There’s a line up as far I could see. They’re offering free food for life. Borderless travel. Even guaranteed housing.. You just have to sign the form and get the injection.”
“In the forehead, right?”
I sensed the heat of anger flush my face.
“Some kind of nano tech stuff. Stores petabytes of data. Your whole goddam life apparently.”
“And they’re lining up for this?”
I am disgusted.
“Come on Ryan. The 99% is poor. Food and shelter is primary and they’re offering it for free. For life. What do you expect?”
I scan the barcode with my phone. Up comes www.freedomchip.com. Jessie is spot on. Freebies galore. Limited time.
Paranoia washes over me.
I call Lara.
“Not on the phone. Come to my place.”
Click. Off we go.
I pick up my registered envelope that Celeste sent me.
Fran cuts my hair. I am very pleased with the way it turns out.
I am awakened from my nap by Chaska who has lost her phone. I accompany her up to Monte Suenos. Her phone was in her room all this time. OR it did a dimensional shift? I share with her how I left things behind and then got them back. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?
Chaska and I dine with Clif and Galina. Great conversation and food. Galina goes looking through her purse looking for pad and paper. Not there. Then suddenly there again. Hmmm?
Will walks with me from the Square.
