I am up 5 minutes before the alarm. I like my body’s way of waking me.

I think about what it would be like if airplanes flew to their destinations only when they were full like the taxi’s to Loja do here.

Pat and I walk to the bus station. To my pleasant surprise Ginna is also on her way into Loja. We part with Ginna at her dentist.

Our shopping lists are shortened as we walk along 18 Novembre street.

About 30 taxi’s, some empty, pass us before one stops to take us to Super Maxi.

Bernie gives us a ride back to Vilcabamba.

Pat and I dine at Hosteria Vilcabamba.

I make my way to see Trina at her place. She injured her ribs and the muscles holding them in place yesterday. We watch The Peaceful Warrior together.

I step outside to witness the star filled sky so visible in the darkness of Trina’s front yard.

I feed the donkey next door to Trina’s place 2 banana’s on my way home.
