Ayda comes by to clean.

I meet up with Galina and Cliff at Mr Tomas’ restaurant. The view from the second story gives a mountainous panorama. The food is tasty. I receive the benefit of language miscommunication when I order a te negro con crema and receive a nice big cup of black tea with a freshly made helping of whipped cream. Dessert in a cup.

I make two batches of chocolate similar to my last two batches. 1 – Cacao paste, almond pieces, cacao butter, coconut oil and tree honey. 2 – Cacao paste, peanut butter, cacao butter, coconut oil and tree honey.

I get intrigued by YouTube videos on probability which leads to a video on the idea of humans behaving in bursts and networks.

In a dualistic world does everything come down to Yes or No?

Is information valued based on it’s scarcity?

I wrote about the word com-promise which means together-promise. How do feel when you hear the statement “something is being com-promised”? Does person asking for com-promise gain an advantage? When is there a requirement for com-promise?

I watch the rest of the movie Life of Pi.

I meet up with Selene and Jorge at the Juice Factory for conversation and lunch. Jeremiah joins us.

I get a chance to connect briefly with Leslie.

I buy a piece of woven fabric from the Peruvian ladies. It is similar to one of the pieces I bought from them the last time they were here. Very colourful.

I see Jerri and get introduced to the new puppy she’s adopted.

I nap for half an hour before going back into the village for Felix’s birthday party at the Vilcamamas restaurant. It’s a dessert only potluck. Lots of yummy treats. Wendy has made a super birthday cake.

My day count for entries is out of sync with the calendar.

I work until 5:30 pm.

I watch YouTube videos on encryption and number theories.

I look at the etymology of the word com-promise. Which means together-promise. An agreement between 1 or more people to adhere to predictable behaviour (be-to-have). This lead me to think about expectation and the possibility of an expected outcome. I can experience an outcome as either pleasure or pain. If I am taught at an early age that most of my actions lead to a painful outcome then I become a pessimist. Otherwise I am an optimist. What is a life like when it is lived without expectation or com-promise. What if it is expectation and com-promise that is the root of suffering. A promise to be in order to have.

Money has become associated with the power to influence outcome. More importantly a pleasurable outcome. A YES outcome. The size of the number influences who will control the benefits of the com-promise. Therefore there is a race to accumulate the most digits. A com-promise is required when there is an one party will lose in order for the other party to gain. Ultimately all participants lose because they will be unable to act authentically in the future. Promises are an attempt to control the future.

Happy Birthday Celeste!

A new Facebook group called Vilcabamba Gringos is launched by Tamara Wilson. Any language postings are allowed. Colourful language, political and religious topics are permitted.

I drop off some peanut butter chocolate for Bernie.

A tea with Renata at Sambuca’s.

The pre-carnival water balloon and foam sprays are appearing in the Square.

Trina and I walk to my place and hang out for a short while before coming back into the village.

The Peruvian woman from whom I bought some beautiful weavings are back in Vilcabamba. One of the women repairs my backpack I bought last time they were here.

Ginna, Felix, Tamera and Frank come by my place for tea and chocolate. We all walk into the village and eat dinner at Sambuca’s.

Two person elastic catapults are launching water balloons across the square.

The Ferris wheel is up and turning along with a automobile train shaped like a bug and lit with green fluorescent light. Very simple amusements for the children and their parents.

Galina, Cliff and I chat for a bit.

FULL Moon.

I just lie in bed after waking up.

Pulled the foam out onto the deck and crawled into my sleeping bag for an  early afternoon nap.

Trina comes by.

I receive an email from my Sarah. Yay!

Pat and I walk the Vicabamba loop and end up at Shanta’s for pizza. It’s been a while and it tastes great.

On our way into the village we see a small ferris wheel being erected at the edge of the village.

I enjoy a tea at Pura Vida then walk home.

Pat sends me a link http://vimeo.com/56530490 his daughter Olivia sent him. It’s a documentary about transformational festivals. Waterwoman is featured near the middle of the Video and I can be seen at 6 minutes 14 seconds standing in the crowd. My second of fame. Thanks Pat & Olivia.

I Heard this the other day

Whatever you give a woman, she will make it greater.

Give her sperm, she will give you a baby.

Give her a house, she will give you a home.

Give her groceries, she will give you a meal.

Give her a smile, she will give you her heart.

She multiplies & enlarges what she is given.

So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit!”

Making it personal.

Whatever I give a woman, she will make it greater.

Give her sperm, she will give me a baby.

Give her a house, she will give me a home.

Give her groceries, she will give me a meal.

Give her a smile, she will give me her heart.

She multiplies & enlarges what she is given.

What if I give her LOVE?

I chat with Norie and Richard after my lunch at Sambuca’s.

I wait out the rain at the Juice Factory hearing about Frank’s week long adventure.

I pick up 2 parcels at the Post Office.

I make two batches of chocolate. Cacao, almonds, coconut oil, honey and cacao butter. Cacao, peanut butter, coconut oil, honey and cacao butter.

Feeling ready for a deep connection but lacking experience with the new wiring … I feel confused. Then the epiphany arrives … when I experience that LIFE loves me as much as I LOVE life. The flood gates open. I use to live my life NOW life lives me.

In an age of rapid change humans seek certainty. Digits (numbers) and the rules (mathematics) that govern them are predictable and stable. In a chaotic ocean of change,  digits have become the ocean liner of stability.  Computers are reliable compute-rs. They manipulate electricity (currency) to control magnets and lights. Humans are linking their productivity and their life force to digits. Whoever creates, stores and transfers those digits controls the flow of human energy and natural resources. Today, digital devices (chips) control the digits humans tie their energy field to. I suggest there is a push to “chip” everyone on the planet by those that control digits.

image

First cell phones then implanted microchips will track each humans location and permit or deny them access to digits.

The internet is an ocean of bits flowing around the globe. Ones and zeros that represent on and off. So much complexity arises from this simplicity.

There is the possibility that each human will become conscious of the power they exercise and will become the creator, storer and transferrer of their digits in a self response-able way.

The Sambuca Salad

I send off 3 packages of my chocolate creation to Canada.

At home I work a little.

I am so grateful for living here. Even though I work, it feels like I am on vacation in a magical place with magical people every moment. I love to bring everyone along who has yet to experience their version of heaven on earth wherever that may be including where you are now.

I watch Flatliners .

From Thought to Intuition:

With information overload comes the breakdown of thinking. Thinking, by my definition, is my ability to differentiate for the purpose of choosing. In my former dualistic world it was easy. Good or bad. Right or wrong. Add up the pluses and deduct the minuses to come up with a decision. Today, when I walk into a modern coffee shop, the choices for ordering a coffee have expanded way beyond “would you like cream and sugar with that?”

I am living in a muti-dimensional universe. Uni-verse implies a one-choice existence. Maybe in the one cell organism part of my evolution I was faced with splitting in half as my one and only life choice but in my several trillion cell earth body my options have expanded.

The very amazing tool I call my mind is only good at differentiating 24 distinct sensory inputs a second according to a report I read. Thus those 24 “still” pictures making up a second of a film blend into something that fools my mind into interpreting it as motion.

Time, that mysterious thing which allows me to differentiate and choose, feels like it’s collapsing in direct proportion to the number of choices I am facing. It’s taking me more time to make choices. Choices span days and therefore the feeling of completion evades me. Where has the day gone?

All of this mind work is designed to result in a flash-point. A final decision that leads to action. The creative process. The shift to the other hemisphere of my brain. These epiphanies can happen without the thinking struggle. Great inventions are sometimes born this way and followed up with elaborate explanations.

I define intuition as an experience of serial epiphanies. I am discovering that there is a reinforcing loop of being involving trust and surrender. Trust leads to surrender. Notice I said being rather than doing. Doing is the operative word of thinking. My mind likes to think about doing or recall previous doings to support future doings. That’s a lot of dodo.

I stay home all day. I do some work.

Renata, Una, Pat and I dine at Cafe Cultura in one of the rooms. Nice ambiance, great food and the ladies look lovely.

Pat, Una and Renata

We all walk to the Vilcamamas restaurant and manage to participate in the raffle. Una wins one of the prizes and so does Pat.

We walk to Roots where a packed house is listening to the band. A little too loud for us so we stand across the street for a while and listen.

We walk Una back to the Rendezvous and then the three of us walk back home.

A phone call from Sienna letting me know that the Vilcamamas restaurant is serving gluten free waffles gets me out of bed and on my way into the village.

Kirsten is the chef and the waffles smothered in a mango sauce are delicious. I enjoy them while chatting with Sienna.

Heather, Pat and I pick up my package at the Post Office. My super potent fragrant organic Madagascar vanilla beans have arrived via my contact in Toronto.

Heather and I take a walk about the village before enjoying conversation and a tea at her place.

I meet Trina a minute after leaving Heather’s place.

Trina and I dine at Pura Vida.

I drop off some chocolate at the Meditation Center for Amber.

I wake up as the sun comes up with self awareness thoughts bouncing around my mind. I fall asleep again until 8:40 am.

I meet up with Renate and Una at the Juice Factory from where we start our adventure into Rumi Wilco.

We walk the main trail inside Rumi Wilco to where the earth bag houses are. As we turn back we come to Gulley Trail #4 which goes up the mountain. A moment of hesitation passes before we start the upward trek. We pause often and I am grateful to the vegetation providing us with shade on a hot day. The trail ends close to the top with a wonderful view of Vilcabamba and the river valley. We take pictures and sit for a while at the vantage point. We take a ridge trail back down which exposes us to the sun. We pass a couple of stands of san pedro cacti on the way down. We reconnect to the main trail a short while later.

Renate enjoying the view

We make our way to the Juice Factory. The fresh orange juice is tart and refreshing. The salad hits the spot. I enjoy a Jerri hug.

I take the sim card out of my phone and put it back in. This solves the phone out of service problem.

A very loud thunder wakes me up from my nap. A light rain follows.

Pat and I pick up Una at Le Rendezvous and continue on to Mr Tomas restaurant. We are the only patrons at first until 2 more couples arrive.

Pat is happy with his spagetti dish and I like the shrimp. The Chicken Swarmi that Una orders comes in four hollowed out logs and is quite good according to her. The French Onion soup that both Pat and I order never gets served but is on the bill. We point this out and they are removed.

We walk back into the village and I get a ginger carrot piece of pie at Jardin Escondido. It’s my least favourite of all the desserts I’ve tried here.

We walk Una home before walking home.

I accomplish some work that I felt was difficult but turned out to be easier than what my thoughts were projecting. I remind myself of an easier outcome when I notice my mind supporting my resistance to a task.

Trina arrives around noon and I take some time to hang out.

I’m at the Vilcamamas restaurant at 1:30 pm for a “Detox” salad and some pierogies. I enjoy the company of Galen.

Galen and I go to the Juice Factory where Galen shares a piece of Amalaa’s Tiramisu with me. Yummy.

I decide to find the new Mr Tomas restaurant. I walk uphill from the Juice Factory and turn right at at the end of the next block which leads to the bus station. I walk as far as the  main road and turn left on to the main road. I walk another block uphill, cross the main road following the road that leads to Vilcanets office. I turn left onto the dirt road going uphill. The dirt road comes to an end with a path leading to a road a few feet further away. There is a sign saying Mr Tomas restaurant with an arrow pointing to the right. I head in the direction the sign is pointing. A few houses down, there it is Mr Tomas. It looks inviting and I will be checking it out soon.

I am up before 8 am.

I participate in a conference call for an hour.

I receive an email from Renee saying she had a dream where she is having coffee with me in Vilcabamba and many synchronicities are pointing her in that direction. That will be great.

I sit with Galen at the Juice Factory while he has lunch.  We are joined by an interesting fellow named Rob who only yesterday came into the village.

I arrive at Trina’s at 1:30 pm. She’s prepared a delicious lunch. Salad and corn on the cob from the garden and a rice dish. I am delighted with the conversation about relationships and the different kinds of love.

I am being recalibrated & rewired.

A couple of weeks ago, the phrase kept running through my mind, “Something is being recalibrated…” As I felt my way into it, I realized that it was the Earth, her energetic configuration was being changed.

Then, FWHAM! for over a week I was exhausted. And so was everyone else I know. Often this sort of fatigue means we were getting rewired. In this case, after the Earth went through her recalibration, our awareness fields were rewired to be in sync with her new configuration.

The process is not unlike installing new software on your computer. First, you load the new software program, then you have to reboot the computer; you have to take the whole computer down, then bring it back up—in a new configuration. All of that fatigue? We were being taken down in order to integrate our new software.

My internet was down overnight.

I arrive at the Vilcamamas restaurant around noon for their grand opening. I order a borscht soup then indulge in 3 desserts. I think they were all made by Yolanta. I also buy some crackers and hummus from the table loaded with so many goodies. I enjoy all of this in the company of Sienna, Stephan, Jim, Yolanta and Lee.

At the fruit and vegetable tienda I bump into Cliff and Galina who only recently arrived back into Vilcabamba.

I do some work.

I enjoy my fruit bowl with Dia, Renata and Una.

I lay down for a nap before Renata and Una stop by to pick up my spare cell phone.

I lay down again and find myself very tired. The very minor nauseous feeling in my solar plexus persists. This has been going on since Friday morning.

After much debate in my thoughts I walk back into the village.

I enjoy conversation with Galen while eating my vegetable primavera pasta at Jardin Escondido.

I connect with Pat, Fran, David and Mary Ann at Sambucas.

I walk home with Pat.

The internet is down.

I watch the movie Never Let Me Go.

Renata and Una stop for a visit around 1 pm. I feel great.

I enjoy my Sambuca salad. As I finish Ana and Sienna join me.

I meet with Trina and we walk up to the circus tent with Sienna. The Circus starts later. The rain starts. We part company and I hail a cab and go home.

A message about LOVE.

Even the RAIN is super natural here. This amazing steadiness with a soothing sound. Crickets chirping.

NEW MOON – Be my authentic self.

I am up by 7 am.

I am at Heathers place by 8:45 am.

Heather & I take a taxi to Loja at 9 am and return by 2 pm.

I am feeling tired and a bit queasy so I nap for a couple of hours.

Pat & I walk down to Mama Silvia’s restaurant to meet up with Jerri and Renata at 6:30 pm. To my pleasant surprise, Renata has brought her friend Una. Plus there is Heather Grace and her sister Amber plus Lee and Denise. Jerri arrives a bit later with Marie and her sister. We all enjoy wonderful food and conversation.

At some point Ginna, Felix and Tamera come to eat also.

Everyone heads home around 9:30 pm.

I am filled with appreciation.
