I pick up my envelope from the post office containing my mail from Canada.
I enjoy a brief conversation with Ginna at the Juice Factory.
I walk to Hosteria Vilcabamba. It feels like 80F degrees out. Elisa is there with her friend Di.
The puppy named Hatchi is playing with Di’s dog.
I walk back home after eating my peppercorn steak.
I watch a YouTube documentary about Auroville in India where my friend Darren is going in 2 weeks. I find it very appealing.
A heavy downpour has me taking my clothes off the line quickly.
Trina comes by and I ask her to call Giovani who has an apartment for rent in town. We meet up with Giovani outside the Tame office. He takes us to the apartment. It’s this 4 story building by the bus station with blue reflective windows. The apartment is on the top floor with angled ceiling. They’re still installing the kitchen. The view from the window is expansive. It feels like the tallest vantage point in town. I let it go.
Outside the meditation center are a mother and baby donkey running loose. They look like the ones I saw on Sunday.
