Rise and shine at 7 am.

I pack and check out.

Breakfast at Coffee Tree. Fruit bowl, 2 scrambled eggs, camomile tea and orange juice. $7.

I arrive at Dr. Vega for my 9 am appointment. Comfy chair. Cleans my teeth using scaler. X-rays a couple of teeth to see if there is a cavity in between. Cavity free. Yay! Suggests an implant to replace missing molar at back. Cost of visit – $110. Implant estimate $1200 – $1400.

Arrive at Ministry Of Exterior by 10:30 am. My notarized (in Loja) German birth certificate is accepted. I pay $4 for my “Empadronamiento”. I am advised to return to Cuenca next week to attend at the “Cedula” office.

I meet up with Renata at the Relax Travel office. I decide against crowding in the back with two people for the 3 1/2 hour trip. After some bartering we wind up with Renata & I in one car for an extra $12. I sleep in the backseat for a while.

We arrive in Loja by 3 pm and catch a Ruta Taxi back to Vilcabamba. I appreciate Vilcabamba all the more upon our arrival.

I walk to Shanta’s and enjoy a vegetarian pizza.

I awake from a dream where I discover my mail being opened and destroyed.

A morning of trust (faith) in the benevolence of life. I am aware of my mind embracing the worst case scenario in several situations that arise. I witness how the scenarios reslove themselves without the drama that the mind has fabricated. Trust affirmed.

I sit with David Wright and Renata at the Juice Factory for lunch.

At home a tiredness washes over me. I put off taking a nap as long as I can. I succumb.

Trina and I walk to Madre Tierra.

Sarah D. emerges from the reception. I love seeing her again. I am happy that she is back.

Gail allows Trina and I to use the conference center for Trina to experience the space for performance purposes.

NEW Moon.

I arrive at Hosteria Vilcabamba about 12:30 pm. Order my steak and Elisa arrives. We lunch together. There are white flower bouquets on tables and at the bar. A hummingbird arrives at the bar bouquets and flits from flower to flower.

If Hummingbird has flown into your cards, get ready to laugh musically and enjoy Creator’s many gifts. Drop your judgmental attitude and relax. Hummingbird will not doubt give you a flash of the spirit, darting here, there, and everywhere. Get ready for a strange new burst of energy which may send your senses reeling.

See more below …

I walk to Heather’s in a light rain. I use Heather’s vacuum sealer to package the chocolate I made yesterday. We chat for a couple of hours.

Trina comes by and we watch the start of the Auroville documentary.

Medicine Cards: Hummingbird

44 – Hummingbird: Joy

Hummingbird is associated with the Ghost Shirt religion, which taught that a certain dance done properly would bring about the return of the animals, and that the white people would disappear; the Indian race would be restored and a regenerated Earth would come into being where the pristine conditions of life would prevail… a message of salvation. Once again the Original People would know the joy of the old ways. In Mayan teachings, Hummingbird is connected to the Black Sun and the Fifth World. (We are now in the Fourth World, moving into the Fifth World of peace, healing, and transformation. The end of this the Fourth World is a time of great transformation and change, of what some say is the coming of the Black Sun.)

The song of Hummingbird awakens the medicine flowers. Hummer sings a vibration of pure joy. Flowers love Hummingbird because nectar-sucking brings about the reproduction of their families. Plants flower and live because of Hummingbird.

Hummingbird can fly in any direction. Hummingbird can also hover in one spot and appear to be motionless. Great Spirit created Hummingbird to be slightly different from other feathered creatures.

Because of their magical qualities, Hummingbird feathers have been used for millennium in the making of love charms. It is said that Hummingbird conjures love as no other medicine does, and that Hummingbird feathers open the heart chakra. Without an open and loving heart, you can never taste the nectar and pure bliss of life. To Brother and Sister Hummingbird, life is a wonderland of delight – darting from one beautiful flower to another, tasting the essences and radiating the colors.

If Hummingbird is your personal medicine, you love life and its joys. (Do you take the time to manifest this joy in your life?) Your presence brings joy to others. You join people together in relationships which bring out the best in them. You know instinctively where beauty abides and, near or far, you journey to your ideal. You move comfortably within a beautiful environment and help others taste the succulent nectar of life.

Hummingbird holds the Bow of Beauty which is delicately inlaid with gold and silver flowers, pearls, and precious jewels. Hummingbird disdains ugliness or harshness, and quickly flies away from discord or disharmony.

Medicine Cards: Hummingbird

Hummingbird hears celestial music and is in harmony with it. Hummingbird may invite you to an art museum or a concert. Hummingbird energetically embraces the highest aesthetics.

Never be coarse in front of Hummingbird, for this is a fragile Medicine which may have no understanding of worldly affairs. Beauty is the target, and its mission is to spread joy or to be destroyed. It quickly dies if caught or imprisoned.

Follow Sister Hummingbird. Be filled with joy and experience the majik of living.

Contrary

If contrary Hummingbird is in your cards in any configuration, it speaks to you of matters of the heart. How or why has your heart center been closed? Have you done something callous to another, causing them to shut off the love they once felt for you? The contrary Hummingbird may presage sorrow and the inability to see the many blessings we two-leggeds have been given and the primordial beauty that surrounds us. If contrary Hummingbird sings its forlorn song, perhaps you should journey into your personal pain and know that your sorrow is your joy in another reflection.

Overview

The hummingbird is a magnificent little creature that, unlike any other bird, can fly in any direction and even hover. Its long beak enables it to draw succulent nectar from every variety of flower. Its movement from one flower to another is a dance of delight, and its singing is a melody of ecstasy.

In American Indian folk stories, the hummingbird is associated with love and joy. Its appearance as a power animal is indicative of the sheer delight of living, and of living the bliss of loving. It implies an ability to see beauty in everything and it is concerned with bringing out the best in people and the good in every situation.

Hummingbird embraces the highest principles and brings the majik of the spiritual realm into earth activities. Hummingbird can help you make the progress of living a Dance of Beauty. Dance in beauty.

Embrace what makes you happy. Be joyful. Count your blessings. Open yourself to pleasure.

Steven sits with me for a bit to discuss visas. As we’re talking, Ed also comes by to say hello and tells me he’s moving back to the Center.

I sit with Amalaa at the Juice Factory drinking my carrot, beet and ginger juice. Keisha drops off two loaves of bread for me just in time for my juice refill. We’re then joined by Clair and Rob.

Frank, his mother and Tamera are visiting from Cuenca.

As I am leaving, James arrives on his new motorcycle trailer.

I stop in at Pura Vida. I stay and listen to two talented people performing.

Two mangos for a bedtime snack.

What do you think or feel about:

Why is it so hard to tell someone you LOVE them and yet so easy to tell them you LIKE them?

It’s because LOVE is a purposely corrupted, low-vibrating abomination of the word LIKE, which is a VERY thinly disguised word for LIGHT. Just say it in your mouth and be aware of the vibrational rate of the SOUND.

LOOOOVE, then say LIIIIIIGHT. LIght, is a much higher, clearer SOUNDING SOUND, or VIBRATION.

LOVE is low vibrating, Light is high vibrating. This is why its easier to tell someone you LIKE them, because it is a much more accurate reflection of how you FEEL about them. The VIBRATIONS you FEEL for them. You like them, YOU LIGHT THEM!

You SHINE YOUR LIGHT on them. “YOUR LIGHT” —-the light YOU have harvested.

As a LIGHT-BEING, who harvests LIGHT, THE SINGLE MOST VALUABLE THING YOU HAVE TO GIVE IS YOUR… LIGHT!!!

You LIKE them, You LIKE to LOOK at them. You LIGHT them, you LIKE to LOOK at them, to SHINE your LIGHT on them, to PAY them your Attention, to GIVE them your LIGHT WAVES!!!

You don’t want to LOOOOVE them, it’s feels like you are a drooling caveman saying, DUUUUUHHHHHH.

You want them to know, you LIKE them, you LIGHT them! This feels SO much better and so much more accurate of your true intentions.

WHAT IS LIFE, you ask? It’s LIGHT!!! Life and Light are two words for the EXACT same thing.

LIFE is LIGHT. Light IS LIFE. Light has a silent ‘gh’ in it, which normally when used and actually pronounced in a word, has an “F” sound, as in the word, ‘enough’

So, Light is really the word Life with a ‘T’ sound on the end of it and Life is really the word Light WITHOUT the ‘T’ sound on the end of it. Just a simple disguise. Sort of akin to slapping a fake mustache on your face, it immediately disguises you, even though nothing else about you has changed.

THIS WHY YOU “PAY” ATTENTION…

It’s the most valuable thing you can do is to “PAY” your attention. To “LOOK” at something. To “FOCUS” on it, to give it your attention, your consciousness. This is why when you “LIKE” something, you pay your attention to it, you “LOOK” at it, you SHINE your consciousness on it.

When you LIKE it, YOU “LIGHT” IT with your “LOOK”, your “GAZE”, like Sun “RAYS”, you LIGHT IT UP with your FOCUS. You PAY your ATTENTION to it.

In 1890, William James, in his textbook Principles of Psychology, referring to the word ‘attention’ said…

“Focalization of consciousness are of its essence.” Your attention is wherever you are FOCUSING.

Focalization, just like focusing a camera, which is known for capturing the LIGHT of something.

Where is your ‘focal’ point?? It is found wherever the camera, or YOU are LOOKING, or… wherever you have chosen to FOCUS your LIGHTING.

Life, Light, Look, and Like…. see any overlapping sounds and structures??

These are all words hovering around LIGHT, your LIGHT, the LIGHT which YOU ARE and YOU ALONE can choose where to FOCUS IT’S ATTENTION.

Madonna, at an Awards Ceremony, “I guess this means you LIKE me, you really, really LIKE me.”

or, she could have said, “I guess this means you LIGHT me, you really, really LIGHT me.”

Yes, everybody was LIKING you or, LIGHTING you. Everybody was FOCUSING on you, shining their LIGHT on you by LIKING you, BY LIGHTING YOU.

This is why its easier to say you LIKE somebody, you want them to know they have your FULL ATTENTION and that you enjoy SHINING YOUR LIGHT on them. You don’t want to LOOOOOVE on somebody, you don’t want to droooool on somebody as though you are a half-conscious, DIM-wit, with DIM WATTS, and a DIM LIGHT, …NO!!!

You want them to know your are a FULLY CONSCIOUS, LIGHT-BEING AND YOU FULLY SHINE YOUR LIGHT ON THEM!!!
